05/30/24: BUILDING NOTICE: The entire recreation deck, including the pool, hot tubs, and BBQ area, will be closed for extensive renovations beginning sometime in and throughout 2025. The dates have not been announced yet.

Since another guest may check out the same day you arrive, to guarantee an early Check-In, reserve the condo for the night prior to arrival.

Property was in a very convenient location, super close to Waikiki beach and shops! Beds were extremely comfortable! Kitchen could use a bit of an upgrade and some kitchen supplies were lacking!But overall stay was good!

Very satisfied. Beds were comfortable, room was nice and clean. We have stayed in many condos in the Banyan as the location is the best!!!

My only suggestion would be to have a few more items for the beach. There was 1 chair only. We had to buy boogie boards and floaties. Would be nice if they had a few on hand and another beach chair. I have stayed in other condos with more items like that. For under $100 they could have them available. Other than that it was great!

The condo has a great location, 3 min walk to a great beach. Just off of the main busy area so you don’t get as many people yelling and honking at 2am. The condo was clean and everything was as advertised, we had beach and bath towels for 6, could see the spot we surfed from the balcony. Easy carefree stay with comfortable beds. Would stay here again.

My family and I stay at the Waikiki Banyan every year. This unit was by far one of our favorites! We were impressed on how clean everything was. Most of the other units we stayed at had a musty smell in the bathroom, but this unit’s bathroom was nice and fresh. The beds were nice and comfy. There were more than enough towels and beach towels provided for our family. The AC worked great. This unit is conveniently located near the laundry room. One thing I must mention is that this unit did not have a spatula for cooking or dish dry rack. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

we usually stay at the Royal Kuhio but it was sold out by the time we booked.
The property is very well located .Parking included is a must especially in Waikiki.
The property was ok.. The door to the lanai wasnt working properly and kept coming off its tracks.
There is no chest drawer in the bedroom .. There was a small piece of furniture but full of books and dvd.
The bedroom closet was big but all the shelves were taking by to many towels.
we didnt any of the amenities so cant comment on that

For the price and for 4 nights, it was fine but we will go back to the Royal Kuhio next time.. More updated

The Waikiki Banyan is in a great location and the amenities are fantastic. We loved that there's laundry on each floor, pool & playground, and free parking. The unit was clean. We appreciated the beach towels & chairs, iron & ironing board, and fully stocked kitchen. However, this unit could use some attention from maintenance personnel. Upon arrival, we found the toilet seat falling off. The rental company did come & repair upon request, though there were other things we noticed throughout our stay. They weren't worth mentioning at the time, as we chose to enjoy our vacation rather than worry about a to-do list for our rental unit. The bathroom towel bar was coming off the wall, some kitchen cabinet handles were broken, the tub drained slowly, etc. This unit could be fantastic. It just needs some general maintenance & upkeep.

We loved staying at this location just 2 blocks away from Waikiki Beach! With plenty of room for our family of 5, this was a great condo to stay in while we were in transition from moving from the States to Asia! The kitchen was perfect size and cut our costs down with making meals rather than going out to the restaurants 3x a day. The available pool and playground was an added bonus when the beach was too hot for our little ones and I felt comfortable knowing that the entire area was fully fenced in to keep little ones from wandering off. If we are traveling back through Hawaii and need a place to stay, we would gladly book again at this location!
