4/5/2024: Waikiki Sunset is undergoing an air conditioning maintenance project from April 22, 2024 through May 2025. Visible construction work around the property and some intermitten noise is expected. No work will be done within occupied condos. For all projects, work hours will be restricted to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

This elegant condominium hotel resort located at 229 Paoakalani Avenue in Waikiki offers hotel-quality amenities and is perfect for your anniversary, honeymoon or family getaway! From this convenient location, you can stroll to Waikiki’s finest beaches, enjoy great shopping and restaurants, visit the Zoo, Aquarium or relax in the lush green spaces of Kapi’olani Park.

This one bedroom condo has a full kitchen, large bathroom, high speed WiFi, and television. This condo also comes with FREE PARKING! (6'0" Clearance, Trucks and large size SUVs are NOT recommended)
From your private lanai you can gaze out over the city and mountains during the day, and watch the vibrant city lights of Honolulu come alive at night.

The sleeping arrangements are very convenient with a comfortable king bed in the private bedroom, and a sofa sleeper with an additional foldable mattress in the living room.

Waikiki Sunset amenities include a heated swimming pool, fitness room, and outdoor picnic area with barbecue grills. There is also an on-site convenience store for last minute necessities, 24-hour security and an activities desk to help plan your island adventures.

CHECK-IN IS 3:30PM — CHECK-OUT IS 10:30AM
Since another guest may check out the same day you arrive, to guarantee an early Check-In, reserve the condo for the night prior to arrival.

We really enjoyed our time at this condo. The condo was quiet, clean, and set up nicely. The mountain view was awesome during the day and at night with the city lights and we enjoyed eating a few of our meals on the granite counter top. Check in was easy with the Security Desk past the lobby desk and the elevators were not that busy in mid-April. It's easy getting in and out of the garage by showing the parking pass to the attendant, although the pass is taped to an 8x11 cardboard paper. We parked on the 5th floor which had plenty of parking spaces and has bldg elevator access.

32nd floor with amazing views. The rental was clean and had all the needed amenities, including a kettle for tea. AC worked well and the king-sized bed was comfortably firm. 5/5 would recommend/return.

Comfortable and Convenient Condo with Free Parking

The condo worked well for my husband and me while visiting family who live in Hawaii Kai. The free parking was a plus. The only con is the elevators - two out of service at times and busy so there was a long wait time. The beach is a short walk away. Good & timely communication with manager.

Overall hotel is a little outdated, but our room #3211 was exactly what is depicted in the pictures. It was clean upon our arrival, the check-in & check-out was very simple using the details provided a few days prior to arrival. I would suggest a new iron be provided ASAP, as the one in the room was old and ruined one of my husbands fairly new (worn twice prior) dress shorts. Also the TV remote needed new batteries. The washer/dryer is prepaid via an app that will only allow for minimum of $5, which is a little inconvenient since it's $1.75 per cycle w/no refunds. Overall I would suggest for anyone to stay here!

This condo had an excellent view of the mountains and the beautiful morning sunrise in the mornings. It's a well designed condo with comfortable furniture, bed and great AC. The bathroom and supplies were sufficient for our stay. The condo is close to the laundry facilities and trash chute. It was quiet and enjoyable. Great location near the park, beach and away from the busy of central Waikiki but close enough to access by foot. The included parking space was a bonus. We definitely would stay here again.

I’m a regular at Waikiki and this condo was the most beautiful and cleanest place I’ve stayed at. Breathtaking views, luxurious bed with the smell of fresh linens, convenience to the beach, wonderful pool and bbq access, this condo has it all! Would definitely stay here again on our next visit. It was great! Very convenient location to walk to Waikiki beach, easy to drive off to other parts of the island. Onsite parking included is AWESOME!! Very spacious condo, lovely views, and comfortable. Having a full kitchen was very helpful for making breakfast each morning and a few dinner meals.

Condo was just like the photos! Very easy rental process and thorough rental information.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at your condo. The condo had beautiful views, very clean and modern with all amenities. The condo was the perfect place to stay, clean and very updated. The location was close to Waikiki Beach with excellent shopping, restaurants and lots of activities. We scored an amazing deal on this new listing on the 32nd floor of Waikiki Sunset! It really was the deal on the stay that spurred the decision to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary in Oahu. The apartment is everything! From the amenities such as a kitchen, two tvs, even an external monitor to do work from, and the amazing view from the balcony that faces in towards Oahu. Everything about the apartment was amazing and we would highly recommend! There was a hiccup in the door code not displaying properly on the app "Hospitality" but a quick call to their office after hours resolved that. You can also get past the funky smell of the outside common area coming out of the elevators (not the rentals fault). Aside from those minor details, I would highly recommend anybody looking for an amazing view, amazing view, and only a 5 minute walk from all the action of Waikiki! Thank you Ali'i Beach Rentals.
